Add an account with two-factor authentication
Add an account using a setup key
- Open a service for which you want to add two-factor authentication via Kaspersky Password Manager.
- Turn on two-factor authentication in the account settings of the service.
- Choose the Authenticator app as the security method.
- Copy the setup key that appears in the account.
- Open Kaspersky Password Manager.
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.
If your device is running Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication, and has fingerprint authentication enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the main password.
- In the main app window, tap
or swipe the screen to the right.
The quick access bar appears on the left.
- On the quick access bar, tap Authenticator>
.
- In the window that opens, tap Enter setup key.
The Account window opens.
- Enter the copied setup key in the Setup key field.
- Fill in other fields with the information you want to save in this entry.
- Tap Save.
The account appears in the list of entries. A one-time password will be generated every 30 seconds.
Add an account using a QR code
- Open a service for which you want to add two-factor authentication via Kaspersky Password Manager.
- Turn on two-factor authentication in the account settings of the service.
- Choose the Authenticator app as the security method.
- Copy the setup key that appears in the account.
- Open Kaspersky Password Manager.
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.

Your device's camera opens.
- If the device prompts you to give the app the access to the camera, do so in the device settings. To do this, tap Go to settings. If you had to open the device settings, repeat steps 6–8.
- Scan the QR code with the camera.
The account appears in the list of entries. A one-time password will be generated every 30 seconds.
