About the subscription for Kaspersky Security Cloud

We’re combining all our Android security technologies into one app–Kaspersky Internet Security for Android. We will not add new features to Kaspersky Security Cloud for Android, but we will improve critical errors.

• If you have a subscription for Kaspersky Security Cloud for Android, you can upgrade to Kaspersky Internet Security for Android with no extra charge. Your current subscription will work with Kaspersky Internet Security for Android.
• If you have purchased a subscription for Kaspersky Security Cloud for Android and you do not want to upgrade to Kaspersky Internet Security for Android, you can use Kaspersky Security Cloud for Android. If you can’t find Kaspersky Security Cloud for Android in your app market, contact our Technical Support.

A subscription determines your Kaspersky Security Cloud usage parameters (subscription expiration date, the number of users). A subscription is associated with the unique code that you use to activate your copy of Kaspersky Security Cloud.

There are three subscription packages:

• Kaspersky Security Cloud – Free. This package gives you the right to use a set of basic protection functions for free on 3 devices connected to one My Kaspersky account. The Free package subscription is renewed automatically.
• Kaspersky Security Cloud – Personal. This package gives you the right to use all functions except Kaspersky Safe Kids on several devices connected to one My Kaspersky account. This package is meant for use by a single person and does not let you share the app with your friends and family. You can choose a subscription period of either one month or one year.

Kaspersky Security Cloud – Family. This package gives you the right to unlimited use of all app functions on several devices including protection for your children using the Kaspersky Safe Kids application. If you have purchased the Family package subscription, you can share app usage rights with people close to you (friends, family, and even colleagues) using up to 5 My Kaspersky accounts. Note that the premium version of Kaspersky Safe Kids is only available for a single My Kaspersky account. You can choose a subscription period of either one month or one year.

The Personal and Family packages include the option to auto-renew the subscription for one month or one year. If you activate auto-renewal of your subscription on one of our partners’ sites, Kaspersky website, or Google Play, after your subscription expires the subscription will automatically renew. Free package subscription is renewed automatically.

If you do not turn on auto-renewal or for some reason the app was unable to auto-renew your subscription (your bank card has expired or was refused), when your subscription to the Personal or Family package expires, the app will switch to the Free package. To continue using the app under the Personal or Family package, you will need to manually renew your subscription on the Kaspersky website or on one of our partners' websites.

The Personal and Family package subscriptions include the following services:

• The right to use the app on one or several devices.

  The number of devices on which you may use the app is specified in the package description.

• Assistance from Kaspersky Technical Support.
• Other services available from Kaspersky or its partners during the term of the subscription.

When you buy a subscription, you may be offered a reduced price for some time. This discount may be granted only once and only applies to the specified period. After this period ends, you will be charged the normal subscription fee for the package you have chosen.

When buying an auto-renewable subscription on Google Play, there is a short evaluation period during which you can use Kaspersky Security Cloud for free. This evaluation period is granted only once.

When the evaluation period expires, you will be charged automatically by Google Play.

If you cancel your subscription during the evaluation period, you can use app features for free only until the end of the evaluation period.

Before purchasing a subscription, you can get a free trial version of Kaspersky Security Cloud that you can use on all platforms. The trial version of Kaspersky Security Cloud functions during a short evaluation period. After the trial subscription expires, the app will automatically switch to the Free package. If you want to continue using all app functions, you must purchase Personal or Family subscription package.
