1. In the menu bar, click the Kaspersky Password Manager icon.
2. In the application icon menu, enter the main password and then click Unlock.

The vault is now unlocked and the application continues running in the background.

Enter the main password and click UNLOCK.

1. In the browser toolbar, click to open the extension menu.
2. In the extension menu, enter the main password and click Unlock.

The vault is now unlocked.

1. Open the application pull-down menu and choose Preferences.

   The application preferences window opens.

2. On the General tab, in the Autolock the vault pop-up menu, choose how long Kaspersky Password Manager waits before locking the vault.

By default, the vault is locked after your computer has been idle for 10 minutes.

1. Open the Websites section of the main application window.
2. Click .
3. In the right pane of the window, enter a name and address of the website.

   Note: You can specify whether you want to associate accounts in this entry with the entire website or with its specific area.

4. Add a new account by clicking and specify a name of the website account, and a login, and password for signing in to the website. Add a comment if needed. For security reasons Kaspersky Password Manager hides the password and replaces it with dots. To view data, click .

   If you want Kaspersky Password Manager to sign you in to the website automatically, turn on autologin. If you have added more than one account, in the pop-up menu, choose the credentials for automatic sign in.

5. Click Save.

1. Open a website sign-in page in one of the supported browsers that have the Kaspersky Password Manager extension installed.
2. In the browser toolbar, click to open the extension menu.
3. If the vault is locked, enter the main password and click Unlock.
4. Enter your login and password in the relevant fields and sign in to the website.

   Kaspersky Password Manager recognizes the website as new and prompts you to add it to Kaspersky Password Manager. The Save this account? window opens.

5. Click Save to add a new website to Kaspersky Password Manager.

If the website already exists in Kaspersky Password Manager, the application prompts you to add a new account for the existing website.

Similarly, when you create, change, or restore your password for the website, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to save or update it in the application.

1. Open the Applications section of the main application window.
2. Click to add a new application.
3. In the right pane of the window, select the application for which you want to store accounts in Kaspersky Password Manager.
4. Add a new account by clicking and specify a name of the application account, and a login and password for signing in to the application. Add a comment if needed. For security reasons Kaspersky Password Manager hides the password and replaces it with dots. To view data, click .

   You can add multiple accounts for the application.

5. Click Save.

1. Open the Websites or Applications section of the main application window.
2. Select a website or application and click or > Edit.
3. Add a new account by clicking and enter a new account name, login, password, and comment in the relevant fields.
4. For website accounts, if you want Kaspersky Password Manager to sign you in automatically, turn on autologin and in the pop-up menu, choose the credentials for automatic sign in.
5. Click Save.

1. Open the Bank Cards section of the main application window.
2. Click to add a new bank card.
3. In the right pane of the window, fill in the fields related to your bank card: card name, card issuer, card number, card holder, card expiration date, CVC2/CVV2 code, and PIN. You can also specify a card color, international support and customer support phone numbers, and a comment. If the field contains important financial details, Kaspersky Password Manager hides this important data and replaces it with dots. To view the data, click .
4. Click Save.

1. Open a website where you need to enter your bank card details in one of the supported browsers that have the Kaspersky Password Manager extension installed.
2. In the browser toolbar, click to open the extension menu.
3. If the vault is locked, enter the main password and click Unlock.
4. Enter your bank card details in the relevant fields and save the data.

   Kaspersky Password Manager recognizes the bank card as new and prompts you to add it to Kaspersky Password Manager. The Save this bank card? window opens.

5. Enter a name for this bank card entry.
6. Click Save to add the new bank card to Kaspersky Password Manager.

1. Open the Documents section of the main application window.
2. Click > Browse for Files to add a new document.

   The document selection window opens in Finder. By default, Kaspersky Password Manager opens the Documents folder.

3. Select a document you want to store in Kaspersky Password Manager and click Open.

   The Add document window opens.

4. In the Document’s category pop-up menu, select the document category.

   Note: Kaspersky Password Manager assigns a document category automatically, but you can change it. You can choose one of the following document categories: Bank Cards, Contracts, Driver’s Licenses, Insurances, Passports/IDs, and Other.

5. If you don't want Kaspersky Password Manager to delete the source document file from your computer (which it would otherwise do for security reasons), desiring to keep only a copy in the vault, deselect the Delete the source file checkbox. This checkbox is selected by default.
6. Click Add.

   Note: Kaspersky Password Manager can't add password-protected PDF-files, files larger than 20 MB, or images larger than 100 MB, with resolution less than 256x256 px or higher than 40 MP.

7. When you add a PNG image, a BMP image, or a big JPEG image, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to allow the image to be optimized for storage. If you don't allow the image to be optimized, it won't be added to the vault

   PNG and BMP images are compressed and converted to JPEG format, and big JPEG images are just compressed. The final size of an image in the vault is no more than 6 MB.

The document entry appears in the right pane of the window.

1. Open the Addresses section of the main application window.
2. Click to add a new entry.
3. In the right pane of the window, fill in the relevant fields with the information you want to keep in this entry.
4. If you want Kaspersky Password Manager to use this address for filling out forms on websites, in the primary address section, set this address as your primary address by using the switch.

   Note: You can set only one address as primary. When you set a new address as primary, the previously set primary address is no longer used for autofilling forms on websites.

5. Click Add Email to enter your email address into the relevant field.

   Note: You can add up to 10 email addresses for one address entry.

6. Click Add Phone Number to enter your phone number into the relevant field.

   Note: You can add up to 10 phone numbers for one address entry.

7. Click Save.

1. Open a website where you need to enter your address in one of the supported browsers that have the Kaspersky Password Manager extension installed.
2. In the browser toolbar, click to open the extension menu.
3. If the vault is locked, enter the main password and click Unlock.
4. Enter your address details in the relevant fields and save the data.

6. Click Save to add the new address to Kaspersky Password Manager.

2. Click .
3. In the right pane of the window, enter a name for the note and type the text of the note.
4. Click Save.

1. Open the main application window.
2. Select the entry you want to view and click Open.

You can zoom a document by clicking / or rotate it by clicking .

1. Open the main application window.
2. Select the entry you want to edit and click Open > or > Edit.
3. Make your changes to the entry.

   If you edit a document, you can zoom it by clicking / or rotate it by clicking . Only rotation will be saved.

4. Click Save.

In the main application window, click (list view) or (tile view).

Drag and drop an entry to a new position or folder.

1. Open the All Entries section of the main application window.
2. Click > Folder to create a new folder.
3. In the window that opens, enter a folder name into the relevant field.
4. Click Create.

The folder appears in the All Entries section.

Do one of the following:

• Drag and drop an entry to a folder.
• Choose an entry and click > Move > <Folder Name>.

Note: You can select several entries and move them to a folder simultaneously. To select several entries, press and hold the Command key.

Click > Reset Sort Order. Your entries are now sorted in alphabetical order in all sections.

1. Open the Websites section or the All Entries section of the main application window.
2. Select the website that you want to go to and click Open and Sign In.

The website opens in a browser window and Kaspersky Password Manager signs you in automatically using the selected account.

1. Open the website that you want to sign in to in Safari.
2. In the browser toolbar, click to open the extension menu.
3. If the vault is locked, enter the main password and click Unlock. If your device supports Touch ID and Touch ID is enabled in Kaspersky Password Manager, you can also use it to unlock the vault.

   The extension menu displays the accounts saved for the current website and the list of other websites added to Kaspersky Password Manager.

4. In the extension menu, hover over the account that you want to sign in with and click Sign in with this account.

You will be signed in to the website.

1. Open the website that you want to sign in to in Firefox or Chrome.
2. In the browser toolbar, click to open the extension menu.
3. If the vault is locked, enter the main password and click Unlock.

   The extension menu displays the accounts saved for the current website as well as the list of other websites added to Kaspersky Password Manager.

4. In the Available Accounts list, select the account that you want to sign in with and click Sign in with this account.

You will be signed in to the website.

1. Open the application pull-down menu and choose Preferences.

   The application preferences window opens.

2. On the Browsers tab, in the Autosave and autofill section, choose the types of data for which you want to enable/disable autosave and autofill by selecting/deselecting the corresponding checkboxes.

By default, the Logins and passwords, Addresses, and Bank cards checkboxes are selected.

Your changes will be saved automatically.

1. Do one of the following:
   • In the lower-left corner of the main application window, click your email address.
   • Open the application pull-down menu and choose Sync status.
2. In the window that opens, click Sync Now.

1. Go to https://my.kaspersky.com/MyPasswords.
2. Click Sign In.

   The sign-in form opens.

3. Enter the login and password of the My Kaspersky account that you have used to connect the application to My Kaspersky.
4. Click Sign In.

   The Passwords section of your My Kaspersky account opens.

5. Enter the main password and click Unlock storage.

The vault is unlocked and your data is available for viewing and editing.

1. In the menu bar, click File > Import from CSV.
2. In the window that opens, select a CSV file that contains the data that you want to import and click Open.

   When the import is finished, Kaspersky Password Manager displays the import status window with the number of accounts that have been imported successfully.

   Note: You can only import accounts for websites.

3. Click OK to close the import status window.

In the main application window, open the Websites section, select an inactive website and click > Make Active.

1. Open the main application window.
2. Select the entry you want to add to Favorites and click Open > or > Add to Favorites.

The entry is added to Favorites.

1. Open the main application window.
2. In the Favorites section, select the entry you want to remove from Favorites and click > Remove from Favorites.

The entry is removed from Favorites.

1. Open a browser with the Kaspersky Password Manager extension installed.
2. In the browser toolbar, click .
3. If the vault is locked, enter the main password and click Unlock.

   The extension menu displays the accounts saved for the current website and the list of other websites added to Kaspersky Password Manager.

4. Select Favorites > <website name>.

The website opens. If you have enabled automatic login and chosen a default account for this website, Kaspersky Password Manager will sign you in automatically. If you have disabled automatic login, Kaspersky Password Manager will automatically fill out the login and password fields with the default credentials for the website.

1. Open a browser with the Kaspersky Password Manager extension installed.
2. In the browser toolbar, click .
3. If the vault is locked, enter the main password and click Unlock.
4. Open the Websites section.
5. Open the Recents tab.

The list of recently visited websites opens. You can clear the list by clicking Clear.

As you type, the results that match your search criteria are displayed in the right pane.

As you type, the results that match your search criteria are displayed right below the Search field.

1. Open the Documents section of the main application window.
2. Click > Search Automatically.
3. In the window that opens, select the folder you want to scan for documents and click Open.

   Kaspersky Password Manager starts searching. You can minimize the application window, the search will continue in the background. The search results are displayed in the Found Documents window.

4. Select the documents you want to add to your vault and click Add.

   Kaspersky Password Manager automatically defines a category for each document, which you can change if needed.

5. Before adding documents found during the search to your vault, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to delete the original files from your device for security reasons. Click Delete to allow this.

   The document entries appear in the right pane of the window.

1. Open the Documents section or the All Entries section of the main application window.
2. Select a document you want to download.
3. Click > Save As.
4. In the window that opens, specify the folder where you want to save the document.
5. If needed, change the document name.
6. Click Save.

The document will be saved to your computer.

1. Open the application pull-down menu and choose Preferences.

   The application preferences window opens.

2. On the General tab, in the Main password section, click Change.

   The window for changing the main password opens.

3. Enter your current main password.

   If your device supports Touch ID and Touch ID is enabled in Kaspersky Password Manager, you can use it instead of entering the current main password.

4. Enter a new main password.
5. Confirm your new main password.
6. Click Change to apply the new main password.

After

sync

The process of updating data stored on different devices with Kaspersky Password Manager installed. Data is synced across all devices where Kaspersky Password Manager is installed as long as they are connected to the same My Kaspersky account. Data sync requires internet access. The status of data sync is displayed in the main application window. Keeping your data up-to-date and consistent on all your devices also helps restore your data if you replace or lose a device.

1. In the main application window, click the Forgot your main password? link.
2. In the alert that appears, click Create New Vault if you agree to create a new data vault.
3. In the alert that appears, click Continue to create a new data vault for all your devices.

   Note: Creating a new data vault will delete all data protected with the forgotten main password from all your devices.

4. In the alert that appears, enter the password for your My Kaspersky account and click Continue.

   The Main password window opens.

5. Enter the new main password twice and click Continue.

The new data vault protected with the new main password is now created. All data protected with the old main password will be deleted from all devices connected to your My Kaspersky account.

1. Open the Websites or Applications section of the main application window.
2. In the upper part of the main application window, click to show information about password security.
3. Click once again to hide information about password security.

1. Open the Password Generator window in one of the following ways:
   • Click the application icon in the menu bar and choose Password Generator.
   • In the browser toolbar, click > > Generate Strong Password.

   The Password Generator window opens, and the application generates a password using the default parameters.

2. If needed, change the parameters of the generated password:
   1. In the Password length pop-up menu, specify the number of characters to be used when generating passwords.

      The default password length is 16 characters.

   2. If you want Kaspersky Password Manager to generate a password with uppercase letters, select the Uppercase letters (A–Z) checkbox.

      This checkbox is selected by default.

   3. If you want Kaspersky Password Manager to generate a password with lowercase letters, select the Lowercase letters (a–z) checkbox.

      This checkbox is selected by default.

   4. If you want Kaspersky Password Manager to generate a password with digits, select the Digits (0–9) checkbox.

      This checkbox is selected by default.

   5. If you want Kaspersky Password Manager to generate a password with special characters, select the checkbox next to the list of special characters.

      This checkbox is selected by default.

   6. If needed, edit the list of special characters.

   The application automatically generates new passwords when the parameters are changed.

3. If you want to generate another password using the specified parameters, click .
4. Click Copy to copy the generated password to the clipboard.

   The application copies the generated password to the clipboard.

You can manually paste the password into the required field. If you use Password Generator to create a new website account or change your password for an existing account, the application automatically pastes the password into the required field.

1. Open the Password Generator window in one of the following ways:
   • Click the application icon in the menu bar and choose Password Generator.
   • In the browser toolbar, click > > Generate Strong Password.

   The Password Generator window opens, and the application generates a password using the default parameters.

2. Click Recents.

   A list of your most recently copied passwords opens. For each password, you can view the date and time when it was copied to the Clipboard for the first time.

3. If you want to copy a password to the clipboard, click Copy next to the password.

   The password is copied to the clipboard.

4. If you want to clear the Password Generator history, click Clear All.

   Your copied passwords are deleted from the history.

1. Do one of the following:
   • In the lower-left corner of the main application window, click your email address.
   • Open the application pull-down menu and choose Sync status.
2. In the window that opens, click Switch Account.
3. In the You will be signed out of My Kaspersky window, click Sign Out to confirm that you want to sign out of your current My Kaspersky account.

You are now disconnected from My Kaspersky.
