Kaspersky Who Calls for Android

Blocking incoming calls

By default, Kaspersky Who Calls marks incoming spam calls as SPAM! but doesn't block them. You can configure the app to block all spam calls automatically, block selected categories of spam, or not block them.

The full list of spam categories is available only in the Premium version of Kaspersky Who Calls.

How to set up the call blocking mode

  1. On the navigation bar, tap Gear icon of app settings.
  2. Tap Incoming calls.
  3. In the Automatic blocking section, tap Call blocking mode.

A dialog with call blocking options appears.

  4. Choose a blocking mode:
    • Don't block spam calls. Spam calls won't be blocked. You can configure notifications about spam calls.
    • Block all spam calls. Calls belonging to the spam categories you specify below on this screen will be blocked automatically. Blocked calls will appear in your call log.
    • Block selected categories. Calls from spam categories specified by you below on this screen will be blocked automatically. Blocked calls will be shown in your call log.

The call blocking mode applies to both cellular calls and messenger calls.

You can also block calls from foreign numbers in Kaspersky Who Calls. This feature allows you to block phone numbers of incoming calls that aren't from the country you specified when setting up the app.

If you sign in to a foreign app or service, a verification call may be blocked. Make sure you turn off this feature before you sign in.

How to turn on blocking calls from foreign numbers

  1. On the navigation bar, tap Gear icon of app settings.
  2. Tap Incoming calls.
  3. In the Blocked categories section, turn on the Foreign numbers switch.

Phone numbers of incoming calls that aren't from the country you specified when setting up the app will be blocked.
