About Smart Home Monitor

This feature is available only in the Plus and Premium subscription plans for the Kaspersky app.

The Smart Home Monitor feature shows devices that are connected to your home Wi-Fi network. You can use this feature to scan your home network and see the list of all devices connected to it.

You can then review the list to block any unauthorized devices and check the protection status of your connected devices.

Multiple devices may be connected to your home Wi-Fi network. Someone could capture your password or hack into your Wi-Fi network to get free internet or access your data.

To scan a network, Smart Home Monitor uses the IP addresses of your router and your current device.

What if an unknown device connects to your home Wi-Fi

If there's an unknown device on your network, someone has probably guessed your Wi-Fi password. Set a new strong password, and then reconnect all your devices. Your new password should have at least 8 characters and include both lower- and uppercase letters, digits and special characters.
