Buying and activating a subscription for the Kaspersky app
To use the Kaspersky app, your device must be connected to a My Kaspersky account, a single account for remotely managing protection of your devices.
Buy subscription
You can buy a subscription from a service provider or in the app.
Activate subscription
If you already have a subscription, you can activate it in one of the following ways:
- Use a subscription detected for your My Kaspersky account. You must connect the app to My Kaspersky to use this option.
- Enter an activation code received from your service provider or when you bought the subscription. You can do it on My Kaspersky, please follow the instructions there.
If you lose or accidentally delete your activation code after activating the app, contact Kaspersky Customer Service.
Free trial
You also have the option to use Kaspersky app on a free trial basis for a short trial period. This free trial is granted only once. When the trial period expires, the App Store will automatically charge you according to the subscription you chose.
If you cancel your subscription during the trial period, you can use the paid app's features for free until the end of the trial period.
Page topManaging subscriptions
A subscription is the purchase of the right to use the application according to specific parameters (for example, subscription expiration date, number of devices).
You can manage your subscription (for example, buy, suspend, or resume) via your personal account page on the service provider's website (for example, via your Apple account). Follow the instructions on the App Store.
About auto-renewal
The availability of auto-renewal depends on your region.
A subscription can be renewed automatically or manually. An auto-renewed subscription renews automatically at the end of each subscription period until you cancel it. A manually renewed subscription must be renewed at the end of each subscription period.
If you do not turn on auto-renewal or for some reason the app was unable to auto-renew your subscription (your credit card has expired or was declined), when your subscription expires, the app will switch to the limited version. To continue using the app under the subscription, you will need to manually renew your subscription on the Kaspersky website or via your provider.
Ordering a subscription for Kaspersky app will not cancel your other subscriptions that include Kaspersky app. To avoid additional charges, make sure you have canceled or disabled autorenewal for subscriptions that you don't need.
About canceling a subscription
To cancel a subscription or switch to manual renewal:
- Go to your personal account page on the service provider's website.
- Check if there are any active subscriptions that include the app for which you are buying a subscription.
Cancel or disable auto-renewal for subscriptions that you don’t need.
You can only buy one subscription for Kaspersky app per Apple ID. To switch your subscription to another My Kaspersky account, submit a request to Customer Service via My Kaspersky, and include a detailed description of the issue.
If you have an active subscription for Kaspersky VPN, you can use it in the stand-alone app Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection.
When you subscribe to the Premium version, you may be offered a reduced price for some time. This discount may be granted only once and only applies to the specified period. After this period ends, you will be charged the normal subscription fee for the package you have chosen.
If you subscribe to the Plus and Premium plans for the Kaspersky app, you can use the Kaspersky VPN functionality. Kaspersky VPN is also available in the trial version of Kaspersky app Plus.
Blocked subscription
The “Blocked” subscription status means that Kaspersky engineers have blocked the activation code to prevent its illegal use. You need to activate the app with a new activation code.
To get a new activation code, contact Kaspersky Customer Service. You can also buy a new activation code in an online store.

Sharing a multi-device subscription
Available only in Kaspersky Standard, Plus and Premium. App availability for other platforms depends on your region.
You can use your subscription to protect all your devices running iOS, Android, Microsoft Windows, or macOS. The exact number of devices on which you can use the subscription was specified in subscription properties when you made your purchase.
You can always check how many devices you are currently protecting and how many more you can protect in your My Kaspersky account. There you will also find easy-to-use tools for sharing your protection with other devices.
You don’t need to remember the activation code to share protection using those tools — the subscription is transferred through your account. After the installation, your apps are automatically activated with the subscription from your account.
To share protection from your app:
- Open the Kaspersky app.
- Tap Profile.
- In the Share Subscription section, tap Get Link.
- On the next screen, tap the platform tile to see the list of available features.
- Tap Send Link.
On the system screen that appears, choose a share option.
- Open the link on the device where you want to install the Kaspersky app.
To learn more about remote management of device protection, revoking the subscription from a user, or revoking the subscription from a device, see the My Kaspersky Help.

You have the option to increase the number of devices you can protect by upgrading your current subscription. If you have a 1-device Kaspersky Plus subscription, you can upgrade to a subscription that covers 3 or 5 devices.
