Private Browsing
This feature is available only in the Plus and Premium subscription plans for the Kaspersky app.
Some websites use tracking services to collect information about what you do online. This information is then analyzed and used to show you ads.
Private Browsing is an extension for the Safari browser that prevents tracking services from collecting information about your online activity. It is based on Apple’s Content Blocker tool for Safari.
How to turn on Private Browsing and protect yourself from being tracked online:
On devices running iOS 17 or later
- Open the Kaspersky app.
- On the Home screen, tap Private Browsing.
- On the next screen, switch on the toggle next to Go Private.
- If prompted, agree to the processing of your data.
- On your device, go to Settings and tap Safari.
- Tap Extensions.
- Tap Kaspersky — Private Browsing.
- Turn on BOTH the Allow Extension and Allow in Private Browsing toggles
- Go back to the Kaspersky app > Private Browsing.
- Switch on the toggle.
Private Browsing will start blocking online tracking of your activities in Safari.
- Open the Kaspersky app.
- On the Home screen, tap Private Browsing.
- On the next screen, switch on the toggle next to Go Private.
- If prompted, agree to the processing of your data.
- On your device, go to Settings and tap Safari.
- Tap Extensions.
- Turn on Kaspersky — Private Browsing.
- Go back to the Kaspersky app > Private Browsing.
- Switch on the toggle.
