Managing app notifications

The Kaspersky app can notify you of different events concerning the following features:

  • VPN
  • Security News and Weak Settings
  • Phishing & Malware Filter:
    • When a link to a website with phishing or malware has been blocked
    • When a website couldn’t be checked for phishing or malware
  • Kill Switch
  • Wi-Fi Security Check
  • Identity Theft Check

You can disable notifications about security events in Profile > Settings > Notifications section.

Viewing the protection status of the app

To view the protection status of the app:

  1. Open the app.
  2. In the upper part of main app window, tap Learn More.

A window containing messages from all features of the app is displayed. You can tap on a message for details.

There are three types of messages:

  • Critical messages inform you of events that have critical importance for the device's security, such as the detection of jailbreak.
  • Status messages inform you that the protection in the specified area is active.
  • Information messages inform you of events that are potentially important for the device's security.

Sending statistics about battery charge

Kaspersky app service lets you learn the battery charge level of all devices that use your subscription. You can view these battery charge levels on My Kaspersky.

The setting is turned on by default on each device. You can turn off sending statistics about battery charge in the app settings.

To turn off sending statistics about battery charge on a device,

Navigate to Profile > Settings > Send battery level data to My Kaspersky.

You will no longer be able to view the battery charge level for the current device on My Kaspersky.

Changing the app theme

To change the application theme:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. Navigate to Profile > Settings > Dark mode.
  3. In the pop-up that appears, choose one of the following options:
    • Light. The app uses the light theme.
    • Dark. The app uses the dark theme.
    • Use System Settings. The device’s current system theme is used.

    The selected theme is applied immediately.
