Kaspersky Secure Mobility Management

What's new

Version 6.0

In this release, we added new features to the Kaspersky Mobile Devices Protection and Management plug-in for Kaspersky Security Center Linux Web Console:

  • New features for downloading files to mobile devices from Web Server:
    • You can transfer app installation packages and device management profiles to mobile devices without directly connecting them to the Administration Server using a new Web Server service on a connection gateway.
    • You can use a built-in download manager to securely download files, apps, and Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android installation packages to Android devices from Web Server with a self-signed certificate.
  • New kiosk mode features for Android devices:
    • You can disable kiosk mode using a secret one-time code.
    • You can allow or prohibit kiosk mode if not all required apps are updated or installed on a device.
    • You can update apps in kiosk mode without exiting it.
  • You can manage sending files to Android devices, delete previously sent files, and configure their settings in the new Apps & files section of the Kaspersky Mobile Devices Protection and Management plug-in and the File sharing policy settings.
  • You can sign device management profiles for iOS MDM devices with a certificate received from a trusted certification authority.
  • RuStore is now available as Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android installation method in the Kaspersky Mobile Devices Protection and Management plug-in for personal devices and devices with a corporate container.
