About documents
You can store important documents (for example, scanned Passports/IDs and PDF files) in Kaspersky Password Manager to keep them safe and always close at hand. You can organize your documents by selecting them and moving them to a folder.

Add an image
Add an image using the Kaspersky Password Manager extension
- Open an image you want to add.
- Tap
. - Select Kaspersky Password Manager in the list of apps.
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.
If your device supports Touch ID/Face ID and this unlock method is enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the main password.
- Save the image.
The image will be added to your vault as a new entry.

- In the main app window, tap
or swipe the screen to the right.The quick access bar appears on the left.
- On the quick access bar, tap Documents >
. - In the window that opens, tap Image.
The Albums window opens.
- Do one of the following:
- If you want to add one image, select it from the albums available on your device, tap Save, or tap
to take a new picture.The Image window opens. You can enter a name for the entry, add a comment, or tap
to rotate your image. Tap Save to save changes.
- If you want to add several images, select them from the albums available on your device.
Kaspersky Password Manager starts adding the selected images into the vault.
- If you add images from the albums, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to delete the original image from your device for security reasons. Do one of the following:
- Tap Delete to delete the original image from your device and keep only its copy in the vault.
- Tap Don't Delete to leave the original image as is.
The entries appear in the Documents window. If you want to view the image details, tap Open.

Kaspersky Password Manager starts adding the selected documents into the vault.
Kaspersky Password Manager can't add password-protected PDF files or files larger than 20 MB.
The entries appear in the Documents window. If you want to view the details of the PDF file, tap Open. You can also edit the entry name or add a comment, if needed.

Scan documents and add them to the app

Your system's document scanner opens.
- Allow the app access your camera to scan documents.
- Scan pages and save them as a single document.
For more information on using your system's document scanner refer to the Apple documentation.
The new entry will appear in the Documents window.
You can scan documents using your system's document scanner if your device supports the VisionKit framework.

Download PDF files from your vault

Merge documents and images
You can merge documents and images previously added to the app into a single PDF file. Kaspersky Password Manager will save the new PDF file as a new entry. You can either delete the original documents and images from the app or keep them.
Merge documents and images
- Unlock the vault by entering the main password and tapping Unlock.
If your device supports Touch ID/Face ID and this unlock method is enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the main password.
- Tap
next to the image or document you want to merge with another image or document added to the vault. - In the menu that opens, select Merge with Another Document.
- Select documents and images you want to merge.
- Tap Next to proceed.
- Set the order of your documents and images in the new document: touch and hold an item to move it up or down in the list.
- Tap Next to proceed.
Kaspersky Password Manager will merge the selected documents and images into a single PDF file and create a new entry.
- Change the name of the new entry and add a comment if needed.
- Save the entry.
- Kaspersky Password Manager will ask if you want to delete the original documents and images from the app and perform the selected action.
The new document will appear in your list of entries.

Troubleshooting
Kaspersky Password Manager may display an error when you add documents to the vault.
