About the license
The license is a right to use the application, granted under the End User License Agreement.
A license entitles you to:
- Use the application on one or more devices.
- Get assistance from Technical Support.
- Receive updates.
Kaspersky Password Manager is available in two versions:
- Free version. The free version of the application is distributed free of charge and can be used for an unlimited period of time. If you use the free version of Kaspersky Password Manager, the amount of data that can be stored in the vault is limited. You can switch from the free version to the premium version by purchasing a license.
- Premium version. If you buy a license for the premium version of Kaspersky Password Manager, you can add an unlimited number of entries to the vault. Licenses for the premium version of Kaspersky Password Manager are time-limited.
When your license for the premium version of Kaspersky Password Manager expires, you can either renew it or switch to the free version. If you switch to the free version and have more entries than are allowed in the free version, you must choose which entries to keep. All other data will remain in the vault but will be unavailable for use.
After your license for the premium version of Kaspersky Password Manager expires, you may be offered a grace period, during which you can continue using the application without limitations. If you don't renew your license by the end of the grace period, the application will switch to the free version. To switch back to the premium version, buy a new license.
