Switch to the free version
When your license for the premium version of Kaspersky Password Manager expires, you can either renew it or switch to the free version. If you switch to the free version and have more entries than are allowed in the free version, you must choose which entries to keep.
Note: After you switch to the free version of Kaspersky Password Manager, all inactive entries will be deleted from cloud storage and won't be synced across your devices. However, these entries will remain on your computer, and you can view them in your local vault.
After you have updated the Kaspersky Password Manager to version 9.2 or later, you may have
and in your vault.Old-type entries are not counted against the limitations of the free version. Old-type entries are displayed as active and automatically selected for use in the free version.
You can choose to use all or none of the new-type entries in the free version.
Select data to use with the free version
- In the license information window, click Select Active Entries.
- In the window that opens, select the checkboxes next to the entries that you want to keep using.
Note: You can select up to 15 entries.
- Click Done.
All unselected entries become inactive and the icon appears next to the entry name. You can view inactive entries only in your local vault. If you have less than 15 active entries, you can activate your inactive entries by clicking
> Make Active.
